Do you think it is important for the general public to trust science? Why or why not?(Required)

Describe an experience with an example of pseudoscience.(Required)

For example, I used to be really interested in the Bermuda Triangle and other conspiracy theories, until I learned more about statistics and the actual probability of coincidences! I strongly suspect that we all have experience with pseudoscience, maybe even more than with actual science.
