kimono
The art of kimono is amazing. Sadly, it is a dying craft along with many other traditional Japanese arts like calligraphy, flower arrangements, and the tea ceremony. More kids these days tend to focus on modernity. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but this risks losing past techniques and arts.
Because fewer men and women wear kimonos, the business has inevitably decreased. Even though it has shrank, those who know kimonos are needed because the process of wearing one is quite long and difficult.
(This post may jump everywhere because I’m quite tired)
One example of a kimono is for a bride. It takes about 15 people to work on one kimono for three months. The price tag for the wedding kimono is around $30000. It’s the price of those small cars. Even the regular kimono can range in the thousands. There agree people who but kimonos at flea markets, but it’s best to bre experiwnce d or else they’ll cheat you.
Sorry, I haven’t had much time to do another walking trip. Wish I could do) another one.
