Individual Jackson Heights Essay:
Assignment: Write a 5-7 page typed, double-spaced essay in which you examine a theme, question, or phenomenon that you explored as part of the class Jackson Heights Web Project.
Guidelines:
- Define the “topic” of your essay, what interests, you about it, why do you consider it significant?
- Describe how you explored the subject – what “on site” work; what other sources did you use, e.g. Infoshare, articles and essays located through the internet.
- How does your “topic” connect to some of the issues encountered in the assigned reading in the course?
- What more would you like to know learn about your topic and what are some of the ways in which you might extend your exploration of it?
