Hi there!
The purpose of this online journal is to explore how authors’ personal biographies slip, or leak, into their literary works–and draw connections to the reason for or purpose of the literary work. I will also blog about some interesting observations that I find especially intriguing, which may further be used to discover and bridge some leaked connection between an author and his/her writing.
By understanding authors more underneath the surface (e.g. how they grew up, what they believed in, etc.), I may be able to more clearly understand the reason for the literary work, or the purpose of the literary work.
This blog seeks to combine biographical research, literary analysis, and entertainment (visual & audio) communication in an attempt to bridge connections from the author to the work and, ultimately, to the reader.
