Creative Project: The Nose — 4 Comments
I really enjoyed your portrayal of losing a leg instead of a nose. And I liked your twist at the end that Diana doesn’t get her leg back but rather, you showed how much the leg and dancing in general affected her social life and everyday functions. You did a great job of showing how the loss of her leg made Diana depressed to the point where she didn’t even want to talk to her family. As you can probably tell by now, I loved it!
I really liked the realistic ending as it was The Nose in real life. All 3 requirements were definitely apparent and not going to lie but the scene in the hot tub made me laugh out loud. I also enjoyed how there was a split screen near the end showing all the abilities of Diana’s lost leg. I really enjoyed your performance.
It was easy to relate this video to The Nose, by how Diana’s leg was a part of her identity. It was of course stated in the video but I understood it before then. I liked the way you used the camera angles to make it seem like Diana lost her leg and how it was dancing on its own. I think you all did a great job on this project.
I liked the idea of her leg being loss and by direct cause losing her livelihood. Unlike the nose where it is a simple superficial problem it actually directly causes Diana hardship. This was well done the only thing I would have done differently is added more music.
