Hi everyone, my name is Carmela Ruffo. I have a wide range of interests in the arts. I danced tap, jazz and ballet for seven years. I played the drums one year, and the guitar another. The next instrument I wish to give a try is the piano. I’ve participated in many theater productions throughout my years in school including Annie and West Side Story. I was also really involved and dedicated to singing. I’ve been in some form of chorus, chamber/concert choir, since the fifth grade. (However, I have the traditional case of stage fright, and dread singing solos. Although I have done so in the past).

I am 100% Sicilian. I have visited Sicily a multitude of times and have to say it is probably one of the most beautiful places in existence. I have also had the pleasure of staying in London for a few days.  

 Growing up in an Italian household, I have learned to appreciate and love the art of soccer. I greatly enjoy watching soccer games with my family (they are very passionate about it). One of my favorite soccer players is Cristiano Ronaldo. Here is a video of some of his most remarkable goals:

    My intended major is finance. I am interested in all things business related. I look forward to this class and to getting to know all of my classmates!
