The 2009 World Series champs were on everyone's minds last week. And I coulnd't escape the Yanks Friday night in Herald Square. This photo shows a few things that I love: the city, the Yankees, Gatorade and sbarro. And it's kind of entertaining that one of the things I hate most is sandwiched right in the middle (the Subway if you were confused =P). THIS IS NYC ADVERTISING. Humungous ads like this are made for Manhattan. Ads are art too and despite the commmercialism of this one, it is a great example. And there was also a great compliment for it:

These 2 huge ads in one spot is a great mesmerizing site for us sports fans. These guys are truly larger than life.
