Mishkin Gallery Visit

I thought that the visit to the Mishkin Gallery was interesting, since I learned how to analyze the various pictures in the gallery. I have found that guided tours really help me understand the pictures in a gallery, even if I feel that there is not much to be said about a picture. For instance, there was a very empty picture of three trees, and I thought there was not much to be said about it. I found out from the guided tour that the trees looked like silhouettes, and were almost abstract, and that they were placed in a very orderly fashion, with a big tree in the middle and a smaller tree on each side of the bigger tree. I also noticed that the sky looked plain and somewhat sad yet calm. For some reason, I would never have figured that out if it weren't for the guided tour, but the tour really helped me understand photographs better.
