Snapshot Macaulay
Submitted by deborah.sebrow on Mon, 12/07/2009 - 18:59The snapshot exhibit at the Macaulay building and the video activity was really fun. When I first discovered that this event would interfere with my usual Sunday morning activities I was upset, but once I got there I didn’t let the negativity affect me. I encouraged myself to be cheerful, and in a few moments I got excited about the project at hand.
Independent Event #2: MoMA
Submitted by freddie on Sun, 12/06/2009 - 23:57I went to the MoMA this past week and checked out the Tim Burton exhibit. Most of the time I was admiring the work I was thinking "This is one twisted guy." Everything seemed to be out of a twisted parallel universe. There was so much in the exhibit, I couldn't help but wonder "How did he come up with so much stuff?" I noticed a lot of his imaginary creatures seemed to be combinations of various "alien" characteristics like antennas and many eyes. At the same time, they didn't seem to be random combinations.
