Your insights this week are ablaze, abloom, and astute! Forgive my A addiction, but perhaps it will inspire you to think of all the many meanings that accrue (there we go again) to Hester’s A as in shifts from adultery to more apt (oops) descriptions of her as she changes in character throughout the novel.
