The other day as I was walking home from class I wasn’t in the normal rush that I’m usually in. Perhaps this is what led me to be more observant than usual. Rather than simply following the crowd and crossing the street when it seemed convenient to do so, I closely watched for the “walk sign” and noticed something I hadn’t prior to today.  Some of the individual lights that make up the walk sign were broken and were therefore blinking. Although this was probably not how the walk sign was supposed to look as it was expected that all the lights worked it looked cool to me and most definitely caught my attention.
