Creative Work

I drew my inspiration from the paintings at the Rubin Museum that showed the various stages of the Buddha’s Life. I always wondered what it would be like if someone cataloged your life for you. So I decided to do it for myself; however, it’s in the span of one day, not many years.

Creative Work 3

In the video I using the painting about the life story of Prince Selchog. In the story the Prince goes on a journey to find Tonpa Shenrab, but the Prince encounters a lot of difficulty along the way. However, the Prince is saved by Tonpa Shenrab’s followers and practices Tonpa Shenrab’s teachings. I relates the artwork to my narrative about Black Friday and in my narrative I mentioned the difficulties I experienced to get to best buy and how my luck eventually changed for the better. Moreover, I was fascinated by the colors used in the artwork and I worked that into my narrative when I described the colors and lights I see outside of my window.
