- Need A/V equipment? You can find the MHC equipment request form here.
- You can use any recording device that captures video and is compatible with your MacBook Pro to upload footage to iMovie
Uploading Footage from a Flip Cam
- Plug flip cam into computer using USB port
- Open desired clip with QuickTime from Finder
- Go to File > Export
- Rename the file and save it to the Movies folder in the main menu
- Open iMovie
- Go to File > Import > Movies
- Select file to import
- iMovie will generate thumbnails of your clip
- You’re ready to start making your video

Adding Your Video to Our Class Eportfolio
To post your video to our course eportfolio, just add the URL to your post on its own line where you’d like the video to appear, and WordPress will automatically embed the video. You can do this with all public videos from either Vimeo or YouTube.
