The Manhattan Store

The second outpost of St. Petersburg has a slightly different mission from the original. Instead of a location in the dead center of the Russian language in New York City, the midtown location at 261 5th Avenue caters to a broader swath of international visitors and tourists.  Its high white ceilings make room for ceramic works and paintings.  A staircase at the back of the store leads to a loft full of Russian titles.  To promote their business, St. Petersburg created a digital tour of the space that lets online visitors see the entire enterprise.  The Manhattan location also lends itself to events including fashion shows, charitable conferences, and readings by authors Tatyana Sheremetieva and Natasha Romanova.
