Our project is a presentation about contemporary works of graffiti originating in New York City. Specifically, we will look at graffiti in public areas, highlighting several different notable artists. Using the lesson, we will have students discuss the boundaries in terms of graffiti’s morality. In other words: When is graffiti justifiable to paint a message, and when exactly does it cross the line, if there even is any line at all?
