This project analyzed the correlation between nitrogen and carbon treatments and the mass and height growth of Phragmites Australis, also known as the Common Reed. We discuss how this correlation may explain overall lower nitrogen levels in Jamaica Bay and encourage further studies to be done on the impact the removal of phragmites may have on water nitrogen levels.

Great poster!! Really informative I learned a lot about nitrogen and carbon pollution and how it impacts reeds in many bodies of water. As I knew nitrogen and carbon pollution impacts water life it was great to see how it impacted a specific reed species especially one that is invasive.
