Dance performance at Theatre de Chaillot

March 15, 2014 I saw a dance performance performed by Tero Saarinen Company and The Boston Camerata. I was so in awe when I watched the performance. It was just so elegant. It has live singing as the background music. The dancers are mixing with the singers. The singers are also part of the choreography. It is not like musical which tells a story. It is still abstract. The choreography is very unique. It combines body percussion with modern technique, which is really powerful. The dancers do not dance all the time in a straight Axis but crooked, which produces a special effect and impression. The light design are beautiful as well. It works perfectly with the choreography. I am so impressed that the french audience are so quiet throughout the performance, even if it is such a big audience.
