“Influence means money?” Is that so…

In “The Synthetic Sublime” by Cynthia OzicK, the author states that having money means having influence. It is certainly true in some cases but there are at least as many times where that statement is false. Take Einstein for example. He revolutionized the world of physics. He taught us that gravity is not uniform in dimension and worked up a formula that lead to the atomic bomb. However, if people analyzed Einstein’s financial situation, they would find that he wasn’t that rich, despite his influence in the world. Other people, whom are Nobel Prize Winners, are not rich at all, instead being in the large working class category of people.
