I like how visually appealing your post is and how it manages to convey a solid theme through so little words. I think the way you made your layout so that the words are next to the images is very effective and gives your visual diary a nice, easy to follow flow. Public transportation is often overlooked and under appreciated by native New Yorkers, so it’s nice to see someone remind everyone how lucky we are to have such a system. Your post’s title is also very direct and the alliteration makes it catchy. Nice job!

Your post was actually one of my favorites. First off, your visual arts blog is very much so visual and it really catches the eye. I like how you compiled your quotes and pictures around the map of New York City because it shows your ideas revolve around one of the greatest cities in the world. I really like your quote about the taxi because I think that is very true. New York City is definitely one of those cities that looks way better in person than on a postcard. I think your overall theme about traveling aspect of New York City and I like how you incorporate different modes of transportation to tie into the big picture. Overall, your blog post a very smart and unique idea.

Your layout is amazing! To combine all your pictures and quotes embodies New York City and its diversity. I love how you placed it all onto a subway map; if there is one picture I have looked at the most in the past two months I’ve been living in the city, it would definitely be that subway map.

I really like how you used the subway to connect your different scenes and images of New York and how you kicked the project off with the Woody Allen quote. Since the subway is such an essential part of the city, it is only appropriate that the subway would be the link between all of the ideas in your project. You also cover multiple perspectives of New York, such as how this city could be beautiful and romantic but could also be really dangerous (pedestrians getting run down).
