What is New York comming to?

New York is a conglomerate of writhing trains, rushing people, and noisy taxis. It is a land where no one really sleeps. Take Times Square for example, there are always taxis running along the streets, and people going to work or returning home. Even commuting to College can be a challenge. This idea is also encompassed by the fact that there is simply too much people in the city. The city operates under its own weight. And of course that causes New York to be what it is at this time.
We find the obvious signs of decay and death, from the dead pigeons on the subway track to the ivy growing on tall majestic trees. The scrawl of garfitti all over the place. What we see today around New York are remnants of what used to be a great city. Crumpled buildings and unseady flooring has made the state almost painful to the eye. This is expecially true with regards to the subway system. It looks all beat and battered up and often we find trash on the tracks. Also there are “technical dificulties” which make late people even more late.
Despite such negative reactions from people all over, there are those that still loves New York. There are so many famous landmarks to visit, from the veteran cemetary to the statue of liberty. They may argue to say the nights are beautiul with the activity of lights and sounds, expecially in Manhattan. I will say that is all just noise pollution; noise pollution that frighten the animals all around. Some may say that diversity is great for new-world countries. However, the more diversity the more uncomfortable racial friction. The Navy shipyard is a nice place to go to but we have to be reminded about the wars that ships have gone to and all the panic the wars caused. Lastly, the famous 9/11 memorial has with it a sense of pain and loss for various friends and family. Places that are “famous” become symbols of suffering, what is New York comming to?
