Great Performance: Two Nights ONLY

Next week (October 24th and 25th@8:000pm) the Baruch Performing Arts Center is hosting The Playboy of the Western World for two nights, performed by the Kilmeen Drama Group of Co. Cork, Ireland. This was the production chosen by The Abbey Theatre of Dublin, Ireland’s National Theater, as the 100th anniversary production of the play that premiered there in 1913. John Millington Synge’s masterpiece is not frequently mounted. Not only that, but with the support of Kerrygold Dairy Company the ticket prices are a mere $25. They got rave reviews in Ireland.
