The companion asked the hero,
“What do you dream about?”

I dream of you

“I dream about everlasting beauty, and eternal peace
Of journeys unmapped and unmarred
And of land revisited
Of beasts with star struck scales
And creatures with fur of snow,”
The hero answered

The traitor asked the hero,
“What do you dream about?”

I dream of you

“I dream about nothing.
Darkness, stifling darkness
Not the darkness of the night
Which envelops like a mother’s embrace
But the cold darkness
Of death and despair,”
The hero answered

The villain asks the hero,
“What do you dream about?”

I dream of cruelty
Of blood and loves lost
Of broken hearts
And lost souls
But most of all,
Of dreams and wishes

“I dream of you,”
The hero answers

“I too once dreamed of you,”
