Graphite, charcoal, paint or ink
Musings, desires, frustrations, experiences
Transform to marks on paper or canvas
Which, when viewed by outside eyes,
Might impress upon them
As a blank slate
And in them arouse

Translating
To that person’s own means of expression
Words to be read
Music to stir the soul
Movement of fluid limbs in dance
Which will further inspire

By the manifestations
