I always had allergies
Sneezing at leaves, flowers, trees
Sunny skies make me go “hachoo”
So do bees, bugs, and the birds too
Sandy beaches so soft and free
Complemented by the blue sea
People putting on lighter clothes
While I am wearing the same old
In the winter, I get so scared to hear
About springtime, coming so very near
Because I know that my nose will go “hachoo”
Sneezing and sneezing till I get really blue
And if you care to watch me in the cool spring breeze
You will see it’s more than nature that makes me sneeze
I sneeze at all new games and hobbies
Like tennis, swimming, and water skis
I sneeze at the beginning of finals and tests
Working so so hard, there’s really no time to rest
Up all night and when the new day comes especially
I do not stop studying or sneezing, don’t you see
I wear only old things and buy secondhand books
Just to be safe I take care not to overlook
Anything new that could upset my nose
Like foods, sports, and my friend’s new big dance show
But old things sometimes tend to get a bit boring
And it’s hard to watch for all the new things coming
So, I’ll try again, I’ll show myself and you
That I can and I will stop sneezing at the new
