Great that your work of art is one that affected you personally…but also would have meaning for people who don’t even know you. There’s something we can talk about how the artist’s work takes her own experience and makes it universal–gives it to the world. I wish we could see a picture of the comb!

Thank you. That is definitely true. I looked through the online collection of the museum, but it wasn’t part of it. I guess one will just have to go to the Museum of Jewish Heritage his/her self; it is one of the museums on our cultural passports, too.

I just updated my post with a cover. It is a picture of my grandmother’s family before the war. My grandmother is the little girl on the top row, on the left.
