Yep, I agree that art is subjective and that one’s sense of aesthetic beauty depends on one’s experiences and perspectives. I think it also depends on the culture a person is acquainted with. On another note, the Metropolitan Museum of Art has some really awesome stuff! I think I saw that panoramic view of Versailles, but it was a really long time ago.
I like your definition of art. I also saw the painting of Versailles and took a picture of it for my United States History class. 🙂
I do agree that everyone has his or her own definition of what art may be! Did you enjoy anything about the view of Versailles in particular? I have never seen it personally, so I am just trying to get an idea of what it may be. 🙂
