Hey Viviane! I totally can relate with everything you said. Especially when it came to my parents really pushing me to go to Macaulay and also the experience we had recently at the Brooklyn Museum. Art wasn’t really my thing either, but I’m glad that already in the first weeks of school, Macaulay has opened us up to new things that we wouldn’t imagine ourselves doing. 🙂
I, too, didn’t really have any experience with art and did’t expect to have any. Without this seminar, I don’t think I would have even visited a museum…but I’m glad I did. Being at the Brooklyn College Museum was much better than I thought and going back home, I didn’t regret having to go as I did before.
