a word to the (un)wise
If your flight leaves Christmas Weekend, make sure to check that you have all necessities before Christmas eve, because it may just happen that you will realize that you don’t have converters or adapters. And almost all stores are closed on Christmas, so you will be fretting about a couple of hours before your flight on the 26th, looking for these things. Your mother will laugh at you, while ignoring your tears (just kidding, not crying…yet) and telling you that this is what you do every time you go somewhere (which is also somewhat true).
Old habits die hard. (So do yourself a favor and don’t let them develop) (Who am i kidding?).
Good advice…too bad its too late for me to follow..
I think I may have done the same thing!
Word! Today, after we did all last minute shopping, and it was 4pm (all stores close around 6pm). All of a sudden I look at my dad and I’m like, “Hey, dad, do we have any converters?!”
::Facepalm::
I have on actual converter though and two plug adaptors. So my dad came through cuz he magically had them.
But yeah my problem is I have wayyyy too much shoes and other things. Like ehm…womanly belongings. AND I DUNNO HOW TO FIT IT ALLL!
ok ok i know I’m a week late, but i decided to read your blog instead of worrying about how our “universal adaptor” probably won’t work on the outlets we’ll have. THANKS A LOT SIMMI. Everything is closed on New Year’s Day. I should’ve read this last week.
Instead, i’m holding out for the convenience of overpriced airport stores…
