The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of the quality of student-teacher relationships in preschool children on childhood mental health issues.  It was concluded that a stable, higher quality student-teacher relationship facilitated an easier transitioning period for the children between preschool into formal schooling and led to fewer mental health problems and/or associated emotional symptoms.

Scott, J. B. (2016). Boundary Work and the Construction of Scientific Authority in the Vaccines-Autism Controversy. Journal of Technical Writing & Communication, 46(1), 59–82.

The researcher analyzed rhetoric used in the discussion of the controversy of the supposed link between Autism Spectrum Disorder and medical vaccinations. They concluded that rhetor’s conceptions of the boundaries of scientific disciplines played as large of a role in their argumentation as their knowledge of the actual scientific facts at hand.

Citation: Nasseh, Kamyar, and Marko Vujicic. “The Relationship between Education Debt and Career Choices in Professional Programs.” The Journal of the American Dental Association, 2017

The research question was whether the amount of debt had any correlation with the particular field of dentistry dentists pursued, whether it be a dental surgeon, an orthodontist, etc and what kind of environment they chose to work in (private practice, education, government).

The researchers concluded those with more debt chose to work in private practices.
