Assignment: In a comprehensive essay — which means don’t just list the answers and create a unique title for it.

  1. Answer the tree of life questions. You may want to ask your grandparents, parents or other siblings for information. Disclose as much or as little information that you feel comfortable with.
  1. Discuss how your roots offer you privileges as well as disadvantages within society.  Think about how your family situation and your current situation contributes to your ability to move up the social ladder.
  1. Each person will have 5 minutes to present their tree of life.
  1. Final essays can include links and pictures.
