“Grandmothers Are Just Antique Little Girls”

As the colors shift from green to red and orange, and the fur vest starts to come out from storage, it is pretty safe to say that winter is arriving. One thing that I love about this season (besides for the Nestle hot chocolate) are the chunky and comfy accessories that I begin to whip out. If anyone knows me, I go gaga for scarves of all sorts.

Way back when I was a little girl, Grandma Dearest had a genius idea (as she always does) and took my sisters and I to a crocheting festival downtown in the City. There with her helping hands (clad with Thigh High nail polish of course) she taught me a very valuable lesson-the chain stitch! This most elementary yet fundamental stitch it key in the crocheting world. From then on, I’ve been hooked. I think it is safe to say that my crocheting speciality is ear-warmers. If you know a girl from the Sem world last year, chances are she owns one of my creations. Whether it be solids or patters, bows or flowers, knots or twists, I have a passion for crocheted fashion. Call me a grandma but hey, it brings in the big bucks!

Happy Crafting!
