Figure 1 shows the distribution of businesses on Steinway Street from 1980, 1990, 2000, and 2015 by use of reverse telephone books. Clothing stores are the largest percentage of businesses on this part of Steinway Street.

Figure 2 shows the walking census of businesses done to categorize the most current businesses. It is important to mention that when a walking census of the businesses was conducted there were five stores that were vacant and another that was in the middle of construction, those businesses fall under misc/no data.
