Steinway Street is a mixture of both large retail chain and small family-owned businesses. It was found that many of the large retail chains had social media outlets, such as Facebook and Instagram, dedicated exclusively to their Steinway Street location. However, although the small businesses did not have as great of a presence on social media, on average they had more and better reviews on Yelp.

Figure 2: GameStop is a chain video game and video game accessory retailer. Game Champ is a small family-owned electronics store. However, Game Champ has better reviews and ratings than its big-box retail counterpart in the same location.
