Housing Initiatives in Plan Verde Include:
1. Projects that will not only create, but recover public spaces for community enjoyment
2. Verification of land use regulations to reduce noise emissions to under 65 decibels during the day, and under 62 decibels at night
3. New Social Housing Method that will join public spaces and green areas in order to promote sustainability, comfort, and habitability as important aspects of design
4. “Clean Building Seal” will be mandated in every new service facility
5. Greening of flatroofs, facades, roundabouts, traffic islands, and streets
6. Development of parks with a goal of 9 square meters of green areas per resident
7. Establish a permanent awareness campaign to preserve public spaces
