Goals for Climate Change and Energy include but are not limited to the following in Plan Verde:(3)
1. Regulation of equipments and promotion of efficient use
2. Use new technologies and renewable resources
3. Develop actions by the Forest Sector aimed at carbon capture
4. To reduce greenhouse gas emissions through specific actions funded by selling carbon bonds
5. To promote adaptation measure for all peoples in Mexico City
