Dear fellow Macaulay students and staff:
I came across a program that everyone should know about. It puts powerpoint to shame! It’s a zooming presentation editor called Prezi. Because it is Flash based, it moves, turns, twists, zooms, flips, and interacts with the viewer. I love using this for my presentations because people are always intrigued. I made several of them in high school, including a graphic design portfolio presentation. It is so easy to use, and free for all students and educators. Just use your CUNY e-mail to sign up. Also, don’t worry about it taking up space because it is an online program that you can access anywhere, from any computer as long as you have wi-fi. If you already have Powerpoint slides, you can actually import them to Prezi and it will automatically convert them! This program is truly amazing, and I give it my highest recommendation. I’m not even part of their campaign or anything. Haha, I swear I’m not getting paid to advertise — I just feel that more people should use it!
See for yourself:
I promise, you’ll absolutely love it.
Here is an original Prezi I made for my Health class about lucid dreaming.
