There were many points in our lives where we lost motivation to reach our goals due to criticism. As freshman, we are faced with new challenges that we are unsure how to solve. Umberto Boccioni, an Italian Futurist artist, is an example of a person who was able to overcome the criticism and even achieved global fame because of it. Sculptor Piero da Verona threw his work in the trash— but instead of being forgotten, his work was revived and spread around the world. Boccioni’s work and legacy can inspire us to never give up!
