If you’ve had problems downloading the reading for this coming week (those three chapters from The Power Broker), I’ve uploaded them again to the Course Schedule and Readings section. Let me know if you have any other problems downloading them: http://eportfolios.macaulay.cuny.edu/brooks12/class-schedule-and-readings/

Don’t forget to register for the Tech Fair!
By now, you should have all registered for the upcoming Tech Fair. Just in case you haven’t done so already, please make sure to register right away. Also, click here to read a bit more about what to expect at Tech Fair.
How to post your introductions
I think I’ll have Jill recategorize your introductions eventually, but for now, please just post them on this front page and tag them as “Bios” (easy to do with the “Quick Edit” function).
Welcome!
Welcome to IDC 3001H, the second of the four Macaulay seminars you will be taking. This blog is where I will communicate with all of you as a group, where you can communicate with each other about course-related matters (or just things you want to share with the class), and where you will post some of your assignments. By the end of the term, you will have transformed the blog into our section’s collaborative website. Every other section of Macaulay Seminar II will also complete a collaborative website, which will then become part of the Macaulay Encyclopedia.
This blog also contains every course reading that I have assigned, as well as all the information contained in our syllabus. Finally, you can look at this blog to find out how to contact our ITF, Jill Belli. If you are having technical problems with the blog or have questions about its structure and functions, please email her rather than me.
