Decades ago, Frank Sinatra sang famously of New York, “If I can make it there, I can make it anywhere…” Declaring himself “the new Sinatra,” Jay-Z together with Alicia Keys proclaim in their contemporary anthem that the city is “the concrete jungle where dreams are made of,” where “…there’s nothin’ you can’t do.” What does it take to make it in New York?
