Financial District
The Financial District has always been seen as a destination for daytime traders and office workers. However, around the turn of the century, the Financial District saw a rapid increase in the amount of up-and-coming families, which has changed the overall image of the area. It is because of this that, although Hurricane Sandy had caused drastic effects in New York City, the financial district was one of the first areas to recover due to its significantly high fiscal and residential demand.
