An archive, like a museum, is a storehouse of knowledge, of history.  In this assignment, you will become a producer, rather than a consumer, of knowledge.  Additionally, you will develop your research and communication skills.

In these projects, your assignment is to create a 4-5 minute multimedia presentation of (1) an artist interview and, (2) a history of a concept or art movement and its relationship to NYC.  You should include images and sound.  In addition, you will need to conduct research to support your presentation.  Your presentation should include a list of works cited.

Your challenge is to create presentations that are interesting, smart, and original.

You can choose the order in which you would like to complete your project.  The first must be posted and properly categorized by October 21.  The second project must be posted by December 2.

The deadline for your mandatory consultation with Kara has been extended to October 11.  Bring your ideas and your questions to your appointment.  Do not expect her to build your project for you.
