Fashion Film: The Cultures of Fashion

Over the course of the semester, I have been gathering a few topics related to the course that I am interested in. The first thing that really caught my attention during the semester was how fashion relates to Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. I then began gathering pictures of interesting costumes that I know from a wide variety of films. About midway through the semester, I discovered that Debbie Reynolds is actually a major fashion collector (along with other movie memorabilia), so I started looking into her collection. And finally, the last thing that really caught my attention was the threeAsfour fashion film that Gabi Asfour screened during the conference. Each of these topics (along with my McQ fashion film review) have a different page which I have been adding to and expanding upon over the course of the semester.
