The song “This is America” was released in the year 2018. Although this isn’t the most recent song, it is still relevant to what is going on today. This song represents the true injustices present in America. Childish Gambino speaks about the systemic racism and violence present in this country.  This song was a real eye opener for a lot of people since they were blinded that these issue exists. This song is directly relevant to what is going on today given that there are many protests (George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, etc.) regarding police brutality which showcases the violence in America.
