What a wonderful thing that once, not so long ago, a man could stake out, infiltrate, and perform on a national monument without being called a terrorist. In a way, this was the idea behind the 9/11 attacks, as well as the recent slaughter in Paris. Our freedom to enjoy ourselves, without fear, is being attacked, and taken from us. These days, who knows what would happen to an aspiring Philippe Petite in America, and now, in the rest of the world? If we lose the security needed to dream, we will have lost all that we could possibly fight to defend. Let us hope that never happens, for our selves, and our children.
