St. John the Divine Cathedral

Last week I visited St. John the Divine Cathedral. I thought it was a really interesting place to share with everyone. Not only is its architecture beautiful, but it contains a large variety of art inside. For example, there was a memorial exhibit dedicated to 9/11, and I took a picture of a sculpture  because it reminded me of the poems we read about it in class.

Albert Connolly

Hey everyone. My name is Albert Connolly. I am from Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and I have lived there my whole life. I went to the same school building for seven years, from sixth grade until twelfth grade. That is why I am excited to make the transition to City College. I plan on majoring in Spanish Secondary Education. I have always enjoyed learning Spanish and it is something I want to continue in the future.

I have had very limited experiences with art, and therefore, I am looking forward to exposing my self to something new. I took a film class in high school and created some short films. Additionally, I had the opportunity to work on a mosaic last year. However, other than that I do no regularly create art.
