I select those three by very different great photographers because each catches this special quality of New York streets: a mixture of nonchalance, absurdity, & promise that everything is possible.
And a Happy New Year to all!

Hej, ladies & gentlemen,
Don’t give me these confused faces “we don’t know what to do”…
I know why I was so reluctant to give you “questions.” Because once I give them, you all follow the pattern & answer one by one. That’s not the point!
Your OBJECTIVE is clear: present your site (where is it, how it looks, what’s special about it, what official and non-official art you saw there, how did you experience this mini-adventure of exploring it; all the things we talked about when I gave you the ass. weeks ago; all the things you know). Your task is to figure out how to present it – within the limited time (select, select, select), effectively (lots of info well organized & pertinent) and in an interesting manner (talk to us, not at us). Freedom well used, with a specific objective in mind.
And remember: contact Andres today.
Now, best with your chemistry exams, etc., but look up at the sky at least once today –
ciao – Prof. GD
Hey everyone. My name is Albert Connolly. I am from Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and I have lived there my whole life. I went to the same school building for seven years, from sixth grade until twelfth grade. That is why I am excited to make the transition to City College. I plan on majoring in Spanish Secondary Education. I have always enjoyed learning Spanish and it is something I want to continue in the future.
I have had very limited experiences with art, and therefore, I am looking forward to exposing my self to something new. I took a film class in high school and created some short films. Additionally, I had the opportunity to work on a mosaic last year. However, other than that I do no regularly create art.
