I found this book very interesting. I did not know who Patti Smith was before reading this, and this insight into her life and her experiences was very candid and captivating. I found her relationship with Robert to be very genuine and resilient, something that was able to withstand societal pressures. I also thought it was amazing that she was able to make all these connections and meet so many famous people before she was well-known herself. I can definitely identify with her struggles with writing and finding her identity. All in all, I found this to be a good read, one that I will definitely recommend others to read as well.
