MIRIAM EISENBERG is from New Jersey, inconveniently transplanted to New York for the duration of her college years. Currently a first-year student in Macaulay Honors College at Queens College, she plans to major in History and Political Science, with minors in BALA and HSS. She recorded, compiled and edited the “Video Testimonies” and “Written Testimonies” as well as the “About Us” page, and she wrote the “Who is Involved?” article for the site.
FILIP MILJAK not only attends Queens College, he is native to Queens. A freshman at Macaulay Honors College, he is pursuing an Economics major. His contributions to this website include the compilation of law enforcement data and trends in Williamsburg for the “Law Enforcement” page that deal with gentrification, and the analysis of how the increase in housing prices and household income relates to crime rates in gentrified neighborhoods for the “Housing” and “Cost of Living” pages.
SARAH YAMMER was born in Manhattan and raised in Teaneck, New Jersey. She is currently a freshman in Macaulay Honors College at Queens College majoring in Economics with minors in BALA (Business and Liberal Arts) and Psychology. She is the designer of the website’s cover photo, and she did the research for and wrote “What is Gentrification,” “Housing,” “Williamsburg’s Future,” and the “Works Cited” page.
