Final day at the Dominican Republic!

After waking up for breakfast, I decided to walk around and take some more snapshots of the DR. Who knew how amazing this place could be?

I had lunch at Square One with some people for the final time after checking out of the hotel. Afterwards, upon getting back to the hotel, we waited for a long time for the bus to come.

It felt like going down memory lane when we took the bus back to the airport at Santo Domingo. We passed by the Caribbean Sea and even went to the same rest stop as we did on the first day. We were once mostly strangers amongst the group, and now we were quite close friends. We have gotten tanner, and we have (to some extent) improved our Spanish proficiency.

Once we got to the airport, I already felt our group separating. We had some time at the airport to relax but soon had to take the plane to go back home.

I finally got home the morning of the next day, but I noticed that our group was still tight-knit; we were exchanging contact info and still communicating outside of the trip. It was comforting knowing that I will still see these classmates even after our experiences at the DR was over because we are of the same school, even though we are of different campuses.

Thus ends my experiences both at Hong Kong and the Dominican Republic. Until next time! Thanks for your patience in reading my (many delayed) blog posts and for being part of this virtual journey! I hope that through this both you and I are able to learn more about both Hong Kong and the Dominican Republic! I also hope that you enjoyed reading this! Any comments for future blog posts about anything would be really appreciated!

On a side note, I will finish updating the rest of the site, including adding another page about what the DR is, so the adventure is not fully over yet!
