Introduction

Welcome to my scrapbook! Here, you will find a guide to three performances in New York City. I decided to take a journey to explore two Broadway musicals (Next to Normal and In the Heights) and an Off Broadway comedy show at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater. With this exploration, came surprising realizations about the similarities of two seemingly unrelated genres of art.
